At the recent 2024 Gala For Hope in London, Art of Canada proudly participated by donating two unique artworks to the charity auction hosted by For Hope Association. This remarkable event, led by the foundation co-created by Idrissa Gana Gueye and Mame Cheikh Ibrahima Fall Diouf, highlights ongoing charitable efforts in Africa.
Art of Canada contributed a tondo diptych to the auction, resonating deeply with the themes of hope and cultural heritage.
Blue Hope: This artwork embodies the vibrant colors of the For Hope logo, symbolizing a united and hopeful world.
Senegal Hope: Inspired by the vivid colors of the Senegalese flag, this piece celebrates the rich and vibrant cultural heritage of Senegal.
These artworks were not only a showcase of Canadian artistic talent but also symbols of international solidarity and support.
The highlight of the evening was the successful auction of these artworks, purchased by renowned footballer Amadou Onana from Everton FC for €25,000. This generous contribution was directly allocated to For Hope Association, aiding their projects that support children across Africa.
